What Is the Millertech Slide-On USB Hub for the Max 4.0 and Max 8.0?

It’s an add-on that slides onto your auxiliary battery and turns it into a USB power station. If it charges from a USB cord, you can power it from your Millertech battery. There’s one hub for each size, sold separately:

What Kind of Battery Is Inside the Millertech Auxiliary Batteries?

A lightweight, rechargeable lithium battery built to handle 2,000+ recharges. It comes with a Millertech 5 year No Hassle warranty!

What Size Cables and Fuse Do I Need?

Cable and fuse size depend on the load you're powering, not on the battery. Call our Support Team at 855-MAX-LITH, tell us what you're running, and we'll help you size it.

What Size Inverter Do I Need for My RV?

Add up the watts of everything you’d run at the same time, then choose an inverter rated above that total with room to spare for appliances that surge when they start. Use a pure sine wave inverter for electronics. Millertech carries Edison pure sine wave inverter/chargers with a built-in solar charge controller for 24V and 48V systems.

What Warranty Comes With the Millertech Max 4.0 and Max 8.0?

A five-year guaranteed warranty, and it’s simple. If your battery stops working in the first five years, we’ll repair it or replace it with one of equal or greater value, free. We pay the shipping both ways. There are no exclusions, and you don’t need proof of purchase: if it’s Millertech, it’s covered. For warranty service, call 855-MAX-LITH or email [email protected].

What’s a Dual-Bank Charger, and Do I Need One?

A dual-bank charger charges your 12V starting or house battery and your 24V or 36V trolling motor battery at the same time, from one plug. If you run one cranking battery plus one trolling motor battery, it’s the simplest setup. Millertech offers:

  • Dual-bank: 12V/24V and 12V/36V
  • Three-bank: for boats that add an electronics battery
  • Four-bank: 12V, waterproof, mounts on the boat

What’s the Difference Between Dual Purpose and Deep Cycle?

A deep cycle battery delivers steady power over a long time, like a trolling motor needs. A Dual Purpose battery does that too, and it also has the cranking amps to start large marine engines. Use it as one battery for starting plus graphs and accessories.

What’s the Difference Between LiFePO4 and Other Lithium Batteries?

Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) is widely recognized as one of the most stable lithium chemistries. Lithium battery fires usually come from poorly designed, unregulated cells. Millertech uses Grade A prismatic cells built to its own specifications. LiFePO4 also has no lead or acid and gives off no gas while charging.

What’s the Difference Between the Max 4.0 and the Max 8.0?

The Max 8.0 holds twice the energy and takes a bigger USB hub. The Max 4.0 is smaller and lighter to carry.
